INSURANCE BIDS

M.S.A.D. #61 is seeking bids for liability, property, auto and workman's compensation insurances through a two-part bid process. Interested parties should request a copy of a Prequalification Questionnaire from: Superintendent of Schools, M.S.A.D. #61, 900 Portland Road, Bridgton, ME 04009, (207) 647-3048 ext. 525. The Prequalification Questionnaire must be completed and returned no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, February 11th, 2011 to: M.S.A.D. #61, 900 Portland Road, Bridgton, ME 04009. Envelopes should be clearly marked "Insurance Bid".

IMPORTANT Bidders may not contact companies/markets until given permission to do so by the school. Failure to comply with this restriction will automatically disqualify the bidder. (RFP #2011-19) FULLY-INSURED MEDICAL, DENTAL AND VISION PROGRAMS

RFP Issue Date: Sunday, January 16, 2011

RFP Closing Date: Monday, February 14, 2011

The Virginia Port Authority (VPA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for Fully Insured Medical, Dental, Vision and Wellness Programs. Current programs available – medical, dental, vision, employee assistance, on-site health screenings and discounted gym membership. Medical, dental and vision benefits are offered to all active COBRA eligible/retired employees. The benefit plan runs from July 1 to June 30. The initial term of the contract shall be one (1) year, with VPA having options to renew for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods through competitive negotiations. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting shall be held January 21st, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the offices of the Virginia Port Authority, 600 World Trade Center, Norfolk, VA 23510. Late arrivals will be denied entrance to the pre-proposal meeting. Electronic proposals will be accepted until 3:00 P.M., local prevailing time, on February 14, 2011.
