RFP for Property/Casualty Insurance

The Loxahatchee River District is soliciting proposals from firms to provide:

Property/Casualty Insurance

To become effective May 1, 2009

Proposal responses are due 3:00 p. m., Wednesday, February 18, 2009.

There will not be an agent pre-qualification process. The current agent is assigned current insurance markets; all agents may propose other markets. Agents, insurers and others who wish to submit proposals may obtain a copy of the District's Request for Proposals by going to www.loxahatcheeriver.org under What's New.

The District and its representatives reserve the right to waive formalities or informalities in proposals, to reject, with or without cause, any or all proposals or portions of proposals, or to negotiate or not negotiate with and/or interview or not interview individual proposers, or to accept any proposal(s) or portions of proposals deemed to be in the best interest(s) of the District. The award, if an award is made, will be made to the most responsive and responsible proposer(s) whose proposal(s) and qualifications indicate that the award will be in the best interest of the District. The District's decision on which firms are selected will be final.
